CLEC-5 Picks New Chairman from Candijay
Candijay local chief executive, Engr. Christopher B. Tutor, had recently been chosen as chairman of the 5th cluster of Bohol’s Coastal Law Council (CLEC), during an organizational meeting conducted last April 6, 2015 at Kiddies Restaurant, Ubay, Bohol.
Despite being a novice in political career, he was still preferred by his co-mayors to lead said CLEC cluster due to his gratitude for the trust given unto him with words of commitment being “a man not with words but a man with action”. He also stated such noble endeavors will be effectively and efficiently achieved with full cooperation among the council members.
The Bohol Coastal Law Enforcement Council was recently been re-organized by virtue of Executive Order 01, series of 2015 issued by the Provincial Governor Edgar M. Chatto. From the original three clusters, it was expanded into eight, having cluster 5 composed of municipalities of Candijay, Mabini, Ubay and Pres. Carlos P. Garcia.
Among the other newly elected/appointed officers for the CLEC Cluster 5 were Mayor Galicano Atup of Ubay as Vice Chairman, Mayor Esther Tabigue of Mabini and Mayor Tessie Boboy of Pres. C.P. Garcia as members. Engr Ermita S. Bual, MAO of Candijay and Mr. Paterno Nalugon, Candijay Municipal Treasurer, were also automatically appointed as secretary and treasurer in accordance with the set election guidelines by which said posts shall be filled by the staff from the municipality of the chairman.
MAO Ma. Royanna R. Milana of Mabini, Ms. Felisa B. Boyles of CPG and Mr. Noel Villanueva of Ubay were tasked to support the council secretariat while Mrs. Judith S. Villamor of Candijay, Mr. Glenn G. Boyles of CPG, Mrs. Nena Alangilan of Ubay, Hon. Victoriano Hotohot of Mabini were also appointerd as the Pres Relations Officers.
Diffrent committees were also being created. The Fund Sourcing Committee was represented by the Vice Mayors; Hon Nestor M. Abad of CPG, Hon. Nelson Uy of Ubay, Hon. Juanito L. Jayoma of Mabini and Hon. Jessie M. Sales of Candijay. The Committee on Livelihood was entrusted also to Mr. Joselito P. Boiser of CPG, Mrs. Nene Alangilan of Ubay, Hon. Victoriano Hotohot of Mabini and Hon. Arvin Neil A. Galera of Candijay.
Law Enforcement Committee as also composed by P/Insp. Erano S. Regidor, SPO4 Ernesto P. Sagarino of CPG, PNP Major Petronilo Gracia, PO1 Niel A. Galvez of Ubay, P/Insp. Jaime D. Dulcero, SPO3 Theodore F. Waytan of Mabini, P/Insp. Gerald A. Luna and SPO2 Ferdenand M. Lariba of Candijay.
The Committee on Information Education and Communication (IEC) was also represented by Mr. Joselito P. Boiser of CPG, Mr. Noel Villanueva of Ubay, Ms. Milagros Galorio of Mabini and Mrs. Judith S. Villamor of Candijay.
Policy ad Legislation committee was also composed by Hon. Wilma C. Dusal of CPG, Hon. Sabiano Atupan of Ubay, Hon Myra F. Colis of Mabini and Hon. Arnelo S. Olandria of Candijay. Likewise the BEMO, OPA, BFAR, ZSL, Ecofish, DENR and ELAC were the partner-agencies taked to undertake the monitoring and evaluation committee#30. Judith S. Villamor, MPIO-Candijay.
